The Heart of TED 5000

Gateway TED5000TED Gateway, the newest component to the TED monitoring system, is the driving force behind TED 5000. The Gateway provides the TED system with added functionality and data accessibility to make home energy management easier than ever!  With the TED 5000, the Gateway receives and stores your energy data internally. This data can then be relayed to the brand new TED 5000 Display via ZigBee wireless. The Gateway stores:

  • Seconds data: 60 minutes
  • Minutes data: 48 hours
  • Hourly data: 90 days
  • Daily data: 24 months
  • Monthly data: 10 years

Your real-time and historical data can be viewed on your computer by utilizing the Gateway's Ethernet jack, IP chip, and embedded TED Footprints software (Windows, Mac, and Linux compatible). Internet access is not required to view the data on your home computer or the wireless display.  However, if you do connect the Gateway to your wireless router, you can access your data from any computer or mobile device with Internet access.
