TED 5000 Firmware Upgrade
We are continually making enhancements and adding features to our TED 5000 system on a regular basis.
Before upgrading your firmware, it is vitally important that you know which version of firmware you CURRENTLY have.
To find out which version of firmware you presently have, do the following:
- Open TED 5000 Footprints in your browser.
- Click the HELP tab
- Click ABOUT
What you need to know is your GATEWAY VERSION. (note the last 3 numbers of the version)

In order to have the most up-to-date firmware for your TED 5000, we encourage you to check this site often for the latest and greatest updates.
Download Instructions:
1) Click the following link(s) and download the update(s).
2) Open Footprints software.
3) Click ADVANCED tab.
4) Select UPDATE FIRMWARE
5) Load the Footprints file first. Choose BROWSE to locate Footprints firmware update file you just downloaded.
6) When selected, press UPLOAD FIRMWARE
7) Wait for Progress Bar to reach 100%
8) Press Finish.
9) Repeat steps 3-8 for the Gateway file.
10) Refresh browser for changes to take effect.
NOTE: To activate Google PowerMeter, go to EDIT tab, and click "Activate Google PowerMeter." Follow instructions on your screen.
