At this point, we have covered the basics of becoming a Professional customer.  Let’s now review the tangible features and benefits TED provides our Professional customers.

• Low Barrier to Entry
  • There are no inventory commitments; therefore, capital is not tied up in inventory.  Our Professional customers can direct their spending on those areas which drive their business growth.
  • There are no “contracts.”  Professional customers can enter into, move between levels, or even exit our Professional programs without any contractual agreement.  Again, our goal is to grow both our businesses, not to complicate them.
• Support
  • We will support your business in every capacity, focusing on sales, technical support, as well as strategic business alignment and planning.  It doesn’t do Energy Inc. any good to simply sell you a product…we must sell you a Solution and in turn, help you sell the Solution to your customers.  Our goal is not to build your inventory; it is to increase your sales!
• Workability
  • TED is the market leader in home energy monitoring.  As a professional, you are partnering with the best.
  • Our Solutions require no maintenance.  This means no costly callbacks which kill profitability.  Callbacks also imply the product is not working which means unhappy end-users.  When the device works as installed, customers are happy…that is a business model you can build on!
  • There are no hidden fees, no surprises.  We do not have subscription or monthly fees required for you or your customers.
• Installation
  • TED Solutions can be installed within 15 minutes in most applications, saving valuable time and labor.  A simple, effective install can be performed economically from both a cost and price perspective.  For our installers, this provides a very efficient and more so saleable model to work with. 
  • Installation does not require utility approval and is vandal/tamper-proof; the installation occurs at the breaker panel, not the meter. 
  • TED can measure up to five individual appliances (such as the hot water heater, HVAC, pool pump, etc.).  This adds tremendous value to the end-user as one TED device can provide robust data reporting.  The more knowledge, the more power to save!
    • You can monitor up to five individual loads using our Load Profile Wizard embedded in our Footprints software.
    • Alternatively, you can monitor up to four individual loads directly by means of adding individual measuring components to the system.
• Data Quality
  • Data is accurate to within 2% and sensitive to ONE watt.  You can literally turn off a single lamp and see the affect.
  • Due to the fact that Energy Inc. uses an open API, TED data can be pushed to third party services.  Some of the benefits of this:
    • The end-user can access the data remotely.  Simply log-in wherever you are and instantly access your very own data. 
    • The data can be pushed to devices like an iPhone, iPad or Android. 
    • This feature allows the data to be aggregated.  A Professional customer could view all TED installations individually, or collectively.
      • Say, for example, you are a Solar Integrator with 100 active TED installs.  As a service to your customers you can monitor their data (both production and consumption).  If one of your installs appears to be faulting, you can notify the customer proactively and schedule a service call…before they even knew there was an issue! 
      • Easily export data for you or your customer's records.
  • TED Solutions work exceptionally well with inverter systems (i.e. solar, wind, standby generators).  If power is being generated, TED will allow you to view production, consumption, and net meter data; the Professional customer, as well as the end-user, can clearly see the whole picture of not only how their system works, but also well as how well it is working!
